About me
I build sustainable organisations around great clinical care. As Owner and Director of Eat Speak Learn, I lead strategy, growth, culture and innovation within a multidisciplinary paediatric allied health organisation in Canberra. My role is to build the systems, teams and commercial foundations that enable clinicians to do their best work and families to access high-quality, connected care. Before entering allied health, I developed my leadership experience within the Australian parliamentary environment across strategy, procurement, contract management and complex service operations. I led major operational transitions, established multimillion-dollar commercial arrangements, improved customer satisfaction from 36% to more than 85%, and negotiated changes that delivered significant government savings. Alongside leading Eat Speak Learn, I provide consulting and strategic advice to allied health business owners. Through Clinic Mastery, I run expert advice sessions for paediatric clinic owners, helping them navigate growth, leadership, workforce, pricing, systems and sustainability. I am also an Ambassador for The Allied Health Hub, contributing to a connected and collaborative allied health community. My broader contribution has included serving on the boards of ACT disability organisations Abilities Unlimited Australia and Eyes for Life, and participating in industry advocacy, partnerships and discussions about workforce shortages, NDIS pricing, provider sustainability and access to quality care. I am passionate about creating workplaces where people feel connected, supported and accountable. I focus on developing leaders, strengthening culture and designing structures that balance professional growth with long-term business sustainability. I am not a clinician. My contribution is building the environment around clinical practice: the strategy, infrastructure, culture, partnerships and commercial discipline that allow good people to deliver meaningful work.
