About me
Are you doing plenty of CPD but still lacking confidence in practice? Lost in NDIS complexity and still unsure where to start or what matters most? I help occupational therapists go back to being good OTs first, so the rest finally makes sense. WHO I AM I’m Clare. An occupational therapist, educator, proud #OTNerd and founder of Your OT Tutor. I’m a night-owl mum whose kids think sleep is for the weak, and you’re more likely to find me sipping tea than carving up a dance floor. I support OT students, new graduates, and experienced clinicians who want professional development that is accessible, practical, and worth it. WHY WORK WITH ME Most OTs aren’t struggling because they lack knowledge or motivation. They’re working within systems that are complex, inconsistent, and constantly changing. Over time, it’s easy for core OT processes - information gathering, collaboration, evidence-based practice, evaluation, and clinical reasoning - to get crowded out by shortcuts, funding rules, and urgency. My work is grounded in the Foundations of OT Success, a framework designed to help OTs reconnect with fundamental OT skills and apply them flexibly across health, disability, aged care, community, and other settings. This approach has been recognised within the profession, including being named a Finalist for Occupational Therapist of the Year (2024) and receiving the People’s Choice Award at the Occupational Therapy Conference (2025). WHAT I OFFER 🙌 Your OT Tutor Learning Library - FREE downloads, videos and webinar recordings for OTs and allied health clinicians. 🎓 YOTT Connector - A 'starter' CPD membership for OT students, new graduates, and experienced OTs wanting to go back to the basics of fundamental OT skills and frameworks. 🧠 YOTT Alliance - CPD membership that takes Connector to the next level, with additional resources, courses, and workshops that go beyond the basics to help expand your career beyond everyday clinical work. 📚 YOTT Journal Club - For proud OT nerds who want support translating research into practice without overwhelm. 🧩 NDIS On-Demand Training - Self-paced learning that supports good OT practice within the complexity of the NDIS. 🤝 Supervision & Mentoring - One-on-one support, regular or ad hoc, tailored to your needs. 🏥 Team Training - Engaging, practical training for teams across a range of OT and NDIS topics. THE RESULT Less overwhelm. Clearer reasoning. More confidence. INTERESTED? 📩 Message me on LinkedIn 🌐 Or explore memberships and training at https://yott.au
