About me
Annabelle completed her Physiotherapy degree with honours at The University of Melbourne in 2007 and has since completed Postgraduate studies in both Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and Exercise for Women. She has worked in a number of health services across both the public and private sectors. These include The Royal Women’s Hospital, Australian Prostate Centre, St Vincent’s Continence Service and Barwon Health Continence Service. She works privately at Central Melbourne Gastroenterology and Geelong Pelvic Health. Annabelle is passionate about empowering patients through education, with the goal of preventing Pelvic Health issues across the lifespan, and improving quality of life for those suffering with Pelvic Floor dysfunction. In addition to her clinical work, Annabelle is a lecturer and tutor in the University of Melbourne’s Post Graduate Certificate in Continence Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. She is a passionate speaker and has presented at both National and State Conferences on perineal trauma and behavioural change. When not at work, Annabelle loves spending time with her husband and 3 young children – gardening, staying active in the great outdoors, and creating baked goods in the kitchen!
