Experienced Podiatrist (1+ years) · Full-Time · Canberra About the Opportunity Join an established, progressive practice with a varied caseload, strong support and plenty of room to develop your clinical interests. We’re looking for an experienced podiatrist to join our Canberra team between now and March 2027. This role is ideally full-time, although part-time will absolutely be considered for the right person. The Podiatry You’ll Get to Do We see a genuinely varied caseload, from musculoskeletal and biomechanical presentations through to paediatrics, ingrown toenails and nail surgery, general foot care, diabetes care and more. Have an area of podiatry you love? We want you to develop it. Build your knowledge, grow your caseload and become our go-to person in the areas that interest you most. You’ll also have: -No weekend work, nursing homes or home visits. -1-hour initial biomechanical and musculoskeletal consultations. -40-minute initial general foot care consultations. -Flexibility with review times. Have a tricky patient who needs longer? Let admin know and we’ll book the time you need. -Protected admin time built into your week. -Love tech? You’ll have access to EMS DolorClast radial shockwave therapy, Zebris treadmill gait analysis, robotic laser/photobiomodulation therapy, Swift microwave therapy, 3D foot scanning and CAD/CAM custom orthotics. -Hate paperwork? We’re embracing AI to make work easier, from clinical notetaking to improving our everyday processes. Plus, you’ll have full admin support to take care of much of the behind-the-scenes work so you can focus on your patients. -Love health promotion? Get involved in patient education, write blogs, create social media content or contribute to our monthly patient newsletter, The NewStepper. Employment Package $140,000 to $160,000+ plus super for full-time podiatrists, depending on experience and the remuneration structure chosen. Part-time will be considered for the right person, with remuneration adjusted accordingly. Optional uncapped commission structure, with the percentage based on your preferred base salary and applied across all revenue you generate, including consultations, orthotics, footwear, products and more. Dedicated CPD funding. 0.5% of the revenue you generate is set aside for your professional development, including courses, flights and accommodation. We’re looking for someone who: -Is an AHPRA-registered podiatrist with 1+ years’ experience. -Has strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, plan and manage cases independently. -Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. -Is friendly, down-to-earth and enjoys working as part of a team. -Takes pride in providing thoughtful, high-quality patient care. -Is open to learning, sharing ideas and trying a different approach when there’s a better way. -Holds, or is willing to obtain, all required checks and credentials, including a National Police Check, Working with Vulnerable People registration, current driver’s licence and any vaccinations required for the role.
