About me
Graduating in 2012 from University of Newcastle, I have enjoyed working in a range of social work settings. I began my career in an Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit at the Mater Hospital in Newcastle. This lead to working as an NDIS Support Facilitator in an NGO community mental health setting. I then worked as an OOHC Case Manager for a number of years which began my passion for and interest in trauma informed care. After a short period as a generalist/renal social worker in a regional hospital, I moved to work as a Sexual Assault Counsellor with Hunter New England Health since 2019. I have recently moved into private practice as a Victim Services Counsellor, providing trauma informed therapy and care.
