About me
I am a compassionate and highly organised professional currently transitioning into Allied Health Assistance, bringing over 20 years’ experience in Human Resources, organisational support and stakeholder engagement within corporate and consulting environments. I have recently successfully completed all of the theory componant, Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and am deeply committed to building a meaningful career supporting individuals on the autism spectrum, special needs etc.
Throughout my career, I have developed strong capabilities in structured assessment processes, behavioural support, documentation, coaching and confidential case management. I have consistently worked within frameworks requiring professionalism, discretion, ethical record-keeping and adherence to policy — skills that directly translate into supporting Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and multidisciplinary teams in delivering safe, client-centred services.
I demonstrate strong alignment with Occupational Therapy principles, including person-centred practice, collaborative goal setting, functional assessment support and accurate documentation. My background has required me to interpret behavioural information, support individuals through change, and build trusted relationships across diverse communities. I am recognised for empathy, integrity and clear communication, which I understand are essential when working with autistic individuals and their families.
In addition to my professional experience, my transition into allied health reflects a genuine passion for supporting functional independence, participation and wellbeing. I am particularly drawn to Aspect’s commitment to evidence-informed practice, inclusive education and empowering autistic individuals across the lifespan. I value working within structured frameworks and am confident in my ability to follow therapy plans, collect observational data, support skill development programs and contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team.
